is expected to reach approximately USD 22 billion by 2027, driven by the need for advanced analytics in security,
public safety, and business.
IFSEC AI & Cyber Security Conclave 2026 is
a one-day conference on 12th Sep in Hotel Pride Plaza, New Delhi in
collaboration with the National Informatics Centre, MeitY (NICSI) to address
evolving digital dedicated to exploring the advancements in AI & Cyber
Security in Industrial and Homeland Security. It will bring together policy
makers and thought leaders from government and industry to dwell upon how AI
helps strengthen security, reduce human error, and practical applications in
real-world scenarios for a more secure and efficient environment.
AI can detect threats with precision and speed
by analyzing and monitoring video data. AI-powered surveillance solutions
automate many tasks. Security becomes more effective, reliable, and
cost-efficient. It enhances human input with AI’s speed and precision saving
time and money. This is much better than having security personnel monitor
video feeds, which can often lead to missed threats due to human error or fatigue.
One of the best aspects of using AI in video
surveillance is the ability to search through videos more quickly. Looking for
specific activities or objects within large amounts of footage is like looking
for a needle in a haystack. However, by quickly scanning through mountains of
data, video analysts can find relevant incidents or objects for faster and more
accurate investigations.
The globally-connected organizations of today
rely on a network of interconnected systems to operate, and any of those individual
systems can present security weaknesses. While offering advanced features like
remote access, real-time analytics, and high-resolution recording, these
enhancements also introduce complex cybersecurity vulnerabilities, exposing
video data and system integrity to cyber threats.
If a cyber attack targets a video surveillance
system, the consequences can be serious—hackers might gain access to live video
feeds, alter or delete recorded footage, or even shut down the system
completely, leaving important areas unprotected. This not only puts the
physical security of your property at risk but also exposes sensitive
information, such as employee identities, access codes, or security protocols.
If this data is stolen, it can lead to data
breaches where unauthorized individuals gain access to restricted areas,
financial data, or personal information. Such breaches can result in legal
troubles, financial losses, and severe damage to an organization’s reputation.
In places like government buildings, critical infrastructure, or banks, the
impact of such an attack could be devastating, affecting public safety and

Objective
The proposed one-day conclave aims to convene
senior government and critical-infrastructure decision-maker CSOs in private
industry to examine the bi-directional relationship between AI and
cybersecurity — the effects of AI on cybersecurity, and the effects of
cybersecurity risks on how AI systems must be governed, evaluated, and
deployed. The focus will be on buy-side decision-making, institutional
accountability, and long-term risk, not technology promotion.
